Die Ausstellung „Fish and Chips, Twice Please?!" gibt ab 10. Juni 2010 Einblicke in die innovative Welt des britischen Modedesigns und präsentiert außergewöhnliche Kreationen, die schon Lady Gaga oder Tilda Swinton getragen haben. Zu den Designerlabels gehören u.a. Charlie Le Mindu, Noki, Craig Lawrence, Louise Gray, Piers Atkinson, Scott Ramsay Kyle oder Dashing Tweeds.

Die Agenten haben kürzlich in der Orang-Utan-Orangerie gelauscht, nämlich dass Anastasia Sokol alias KATZ' den Modeladen Pimkie schätzt. Wir zucken die Achseln und meinen, 20jährige genießen noch ihr Katzenkinderdasein. Daneben übrigens einer DER Figaros Wiens: Josef Winkler, erfolgreich Abtrüniger von ER+ICH.

Initiated
by the Vehbi Koç Foundation, "ARTER - Space for Art" is conceived as
an exhibition space and its programmes are created with the aim of encouraging
production of contemporary artworks, providing a platform of visibility for
artistic practices, producing and presenting exhibitions curated from the VKF
Contemporary Art Collection, as well as from private collections and archives. Furthermore,
joint productions with international institutions are intended to be included
in the programme. In terms of funding, exhibiting, promotion and publications,
as well as support for educational activities ARTER will offer artists a
sustainable infrastructure for producing new works.
ARTER is built as an exhibition space and is not a museum; furthermore there
are no plans to convert the current building into a museum in the future. As a
new art space in Istanbul ARTER will provide an experimental and testing ground
in preparation for the museum complex the Vehbi Koç Foundation envisions.

The Morning Line of the Thyssen-Bornemizsza Art Contemporay in the Center of Eminönu Meydani (square of Eminönu) will last till 19th September - but SORRY, it didnt touch our hearts. If you don't like to work in the context of public art (there was something said like that by the curator Daniela Zyman)- it dosent make sense to put a sculpture on a public square. In former times they called these circumstance drop/ped sculpture... .The contemporary music as a "side dish" didnt make it more vibrant...Never the less the music programm is worth to visit. AND the Ghostdigital concert was the highlight during the rainy opening night - dancing arround your umbrella in the rain of Istanbul....
